Long rests in the wilderness are some of the best roleplay moments in a campaign, and they work better when the forest around the campfire feels alive. A night forest ambience gives your players something to listen to while they argue over watch order.
This loop combines insects, owl calls, a soft wind through the trees and the occasional distant wolf. It is calm enough for a quiet conversation by the fire and eerie enough that a random encounter roll suddenly feels very real.
Use it for camp scenes, night watches, travel through haunted woods, or a ranger tracking something through the dark. When the encounter starts, open My Moods and crossfade straight into combat music without stopping the forest.

Forest at Night ambience FAQ
Can I use this forest ambience for sleep or focus too?
Many people do. Without the wolf layer it becomes a calm nature soundscape for reading, studying or falling asleep.
How do I add a campfire to the forest?
In the app, add the fireplace layer to the same scene and set its volume. Each layer mixes independently.
Is there a daytime version?
Yes. My Moods includes daytime and morning forest sounds, and you can switch between them with a smooth crossfade.
